Many years ago during years of study in Medway Kent at sites across Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham and Rainham, I had a big problem. How could I stand in front of classrooms of students and present? This got worse in Maidstone and Gravesend sometime later when called upon for wedding speeches!
After becoming a hypnotherapist and using hypnosis on a regular basis online, overseas and more local at Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Sittingbourne, Ashford and Canterbury, I began to actively look for places to speak!
Hypnotherapy for performance anxiety is quick, effective and actually quite rewarding. It can give you back your freedom and that feeling you feel….is excitement.
3 Top tips to avoid performance anxiety:
- Find one person or two in your audience who are attentive and smiling and present mostly to them. You can gaze around the room, but come back to them.
- Talk from the heart and stick to your passion. You are you and can only please you. Have fun with it. Throw in a success story too.
